UTA’s popular summer youth pass provides unlimited rides for youth, ages 6 to 18, to destinations such as City Creek Center, libraries, city parks, Lagoon, Thanksgiving Point, and even your important summer job. And so much more!

Rider’s License is valid from June 1 to August 31 on FrontRunner, TRAX, S-Line, UTA On Demand, and buses.*

Where To Buy It

Starting April 24, 2025, you can purchase a physical Rider’s License online, at a UTA Customer Service location, or by calling 801-RIDE-UTA (801-743-3882) or you can purchase a digital card through the Transit app.

 

How To Use It

If you have a physical card, tap it on the card reader when you board and exit a UTA vehicle. If transferring between TRAX lines, tap only at the starting and ending stations.

If you bought your pass in the Transit app, simply open the app and activate your ride. Show your active pass to the bus operator when you board or to the fare inspector when asked on TRAX or FrontRunner.
